The Rules

The Family Project is a handbook for creative discovery, so feel free to experiment. But if you like structure, here are some rules (choose whichever ones you like).

  1. Making a mess may be necessary
  2. Mistakes will teach you something
  3. Doing it your own way is the right way
  4. Sometimes you won’t need to think too hard and other times you’ll want to delve a bit deeper
  5. Some things will be painful, others will be fun
  6. Rule-breaking is to be expected
  7. It is your choice whether you share the results of the exercises with others – or keep it all to yourself

If you do create something, and you choose to share it online – please also tweet, using the hashtag #familyproject, and we will share it
